Alejandra was the sweetest and most talented hair and makeup artist I could have asked for! She is clearly experienced and loves her job. I had a black tie work event and didn’t really have much inspo to give her other than saying I wanted soft curls and some sparkle on my eyes, and she worked her magic. She even gave me some tips for doing my own hair and makeup! Everything lasted through the night and my hair even lasted through until the next day, which was an added bonus. Can’t wait to come back to San Francisco and match with Alejandra again!

Hi there, Please correct this receipt immediately. You didn't do 5 full blowouts and makeup. You did two (my eldest daughter and me) and spent 10 minutes max on the little sisters. The entire visit was an hour and a half.

So amazing! My hair turned out exactly how I imagined (even better).

There was a mixup about where I was located. She was one hour late. But she apologized and took full responsibility. I appreciated that. She talked me through each step, and we discussed what I was comfortable with. Great personality too.

She did a nice job on my make up, but gave me messy curls for hair and could not put a simple hair accessory in my hair. I’m pretty disappointed with my experience, This was for my wedding lunch rehearsal, and I do not look put together at all.

I think Jeanette had a great disposition and I enjoyed working with her. She did a great job on styling my hair, making it into loose curls. Unfortunately, I don't feel we nailed the makeup itself. The first version of the makeup was too much and didn't look good on me, so Jeannette redid my eyebrows to make them look more natural. I ultimately ended up removing all the makeup around the eyes and redoing the eye shadow and eye liner, as it looked quite messy.

I was not happy with how my hair turned. I could have done it myself. No volume, even thought I asked for lots of volume. She used a revelon brush dryer instead of a blow dryer and round brush. She didn’t bring any hair clips to create volume and curls. I don’t feel like what I got was worth $120. I was very disappointed. She was a nice person.

Wow! Rachael did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup! She arrived early to set up and really took her time to perfect the look I wanted. She even requested to see some of my photographer's gallery before she started so she could adjust what color palette would look best given the type of filters and editing the photographer seemed to prefer to use. Needless to say, the look was perfect for my outdoor golden hour shoot. It was a windy day too so Rachael used all of the appropriate products to insure the style would hold up and we went with the airbrush makeup instead of traditional. I needed ZERO touchups throughout the photoshoot and felt so relieved to know that both my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless for each photo. Racheal is also extremely clean and organized. Her makeup kit was so extensive and so freakin' clean. She came with a huge rolling suitcase of products and I kid you not, it was immaculate. I've had so many makeup artists before who were so unorganized and their kits were a powdery disaster! Take the stress out of choosing the right hair and makeup person and go with Rachael. She is an artist and also a down to earth bay area girl whom you'll enjoy spending the time with.

Knowing I didn’t really do makeup on a regular basis she had an idea of what natural makeup I wanted but checked in throughout the process to make sure it’s what I wanted. She looked at my dress and knowing I preferred my hair down, knew exactly how to tailor the look. More than just doing a job, Lindsay looked into the details. She mixed her products to get the exact skin tone match and colors that would work for my look. She even took the time to teach me how a bit more about makeup looks and how to apply it easily if I wanted to next time. I also absolutely enjoyed the conversation with Lindsay.
